How to create Excel Interactive Sales Map

Show on Excel dashboard sales by country and customer.

The Excel solution is quick and easy:

  1. Create a PivotTable From the sales database which shows sales by country.
  2. Set the TOP 10 filter on the data table. Derive the data from the PivotTable into a new table. Create a map from the "auxiliary" table.
  3. Create another PivotTable showing sales by customer and create a new sales graph from it
  4. Create a slicer and connect both Pivot Tables so that, depending on the selection in the filter, they show the same result, but divided by different attributes.
